WE funds support Tipey Joa’s work with Indigenous women across the Baja and Southern California border region, many of whom face poverty and threats to their cultural preservation. Our grant will expand the Women’s Empowerment through Arts and Vital Enterprise (W.E.A.V.E.) program to help women gain skills in traditional arts, entrepreneurship, and business management. Through traditional arts, culture, and enterprise, women are reclaiming their voices and strengthening their communities.
