WE funds support programs for women in solidary groups, including the ESTIMA group, Indigenous Women Groups, and Deported and Vulnerable Women Groups. Many women in these programs came to Tijuana, fleeing violence and poverty, hoping for better economic opportunities to care for themselves and their children. This funding will continue our support of these groups, with at least 64 women participating in total, and their access to microloans, small business and product development support, and other components leading to financial security.
