SDSU School of Social Work in San Diego

Partner Since: 2026
2026 Grant Amount: $10,000

WE funds support a pilot program designed by Dr. Urada’s team at SDSU School of Social Work, reaching women experiencing homelessness. This program offers pathways to stability, dignity, and a brighter future for one of the most vulnerable groups of women in San Diego. WE will provide a one-time grant of $10,000 to pilot small group sessions with groups of women in downtown San Diego. The 12-week series will help participants access resources and navigate systems to regain stability, as well as improve their skills, financial literacy, and job readiness on the path to economic empowerment.
