Partner Site Visit: Via International

Join us on a trip to visit our partner, Via International, at one of their program sites in Tijuana, Mexico. We will meet women and staff from their Via Migrante and ESTIMA programs, which are supported by WE grant funds. This is a wonderful opportunity to see our partnership in action and meet the incredible women who participate in these programs.

Women will set up items from their businesses for sale. Get a chance to meet and talk with them about their products and businesses, as well as supporting them directly with anything you buy! We will also hear from Via staff about program updates and tour their new shelter, Comunidad de Luz, for women & children who have migrated or been deported to the area. Via will operate programming in partnership with several other organizations, including childcare, job training, and psychological counseling, to create paths to a dignified fresh start in life.

We will meet Via International staff near a parking lot by the San Ysidro border crossing to walk across as a group. Once on the Mexico side, we will board a bus reserved for our transportation.
